Alliteration

I am learning to write alliterated sentences.

Angry Alina ate an alligator.

"First I found all the words that start with the 'a' sound, then I wrote a sentence. It was a little bit tricky, but I liked it."

Fractions

Halves and Quarters

I have been learning all about halves and quarters.

"It was a little tricky at first, but it is easy now."

Youthtown Sports

Relays

We have been participating in the Youthtown sports programme where we are learning to be part of a team.

"I liked doing relays, it was lots of fun."

Maths

Counting On

I have been learning to count on from the bigger number.

“I first put the 5 plus 6 and then I changed it around to 6 plus five.  Then I put the 6 in my head and counted 5 more.”

Swimming

I have been learning to swim with my head in the water.  I was a bit tricky to start but now its easy.

My Family

My family is from China.  There are four people in my family.  I like to go to the zoo with my family, my family like it too.  My brother wants to go to school but my brother is three and a half and this year he is four years old. Alina March 2016

In writing I have been writing about my family.  I am learning to use capital letters and full stops in the right places. 

I liked writing about my family, but it was tricky to remember all the capital letters.
